WELCOME TO THE SHERWOOD FC WEBSITE!

Sherwood FC is a community football club based in Sherwood Nottingham, formed in  the early 1990s. The club includes over twenty teams from Under 7s to senior women. The entire club is managed and run by volunteers.

As much as everyone likes to win, our club places more of an emphasis on teamwork, player development and fair play over results.

Sherwood FC is committed to ensuring children playsfootball in a safe environment.  As part of this commitment, managers, coaches and other adults regularly coming into contact with players will have to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service ‘DBS’ check to ensure their suitability.

PRESENTATION DAY 2025

Our Presentation Day takes place at the Forest Sports Zone on Saturday 28th June 2025.

Along with the presentation of trophies and team friendly football matches, we will be raising money for the club to purchase new balls and equipment by selling food and drink, and running the ‘Back of the Net Challenge’ in which players can win Mystery Kits.

PLEASE COME ALONG AND HELP US RAISE SOME MUCH NEEDED FUNDS!

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 2025

Our AGM takes place on Tuesday 15th July, 7.30pm at The Gladstone pub (upstairs), Carrington, NG5 2AW

Anyone associated with Sherwood FC is welcome to attend. A least one representative from each team is required to attend.

The 24/25 football season is now at an end and none of our teams are currently looking to recruit players.

Please check back from July 2025 onwards to see if we have any places available in our under 7 to under 16 and women’s teams.
