WELCOME TO THE SHERWOOD FC WEBSITE!

Sherwood FC is a community football club based in Sherwood Nottingham, formed in  the early 1990s. The club includes over twenty teams from Under 7s to senior women. The entire club is managed and run by volunteers.

As much as everyone likes to win, our club places more of an emphasis on teamwork, player development and fair play over results.

Sherwood FC is committed to ensuring children playsfootball in a safe environment.  As part of this commitment, managers, coaches and other adults regularly coming into contact with players will have to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service ‘DBS’ check to ensure their suitability.

DO YOU HAVE A CHILD WHO WANTS TO PLAY?

We currently only have spaces in the following teams for new players: 1) Under 10 Girls Team (9 and 10 year old girls) 2) Senior Women’s Team (open age group). All our other teams are currently full.

CLUB MEETINGS

Our club meetings (open to all) are on the first Tuesday of every month (during the football season), upstairs at The Gladstone Pub, Loscoe Rd, Carrington, NG5 2AW.
