WELCOME TO THE SHERWOOD FC WEBSITE!

Sherwood FC is a community football club based in Sherwood Nottingham, formed in  the early 1990s. The club includes over twenty teams from Under 7s to senior women. The entire club is managed and run by volunteers.

As much as everyone likes to win, our club places more of an emphasis on teamwork, player development and fair play over results.

Sherwood FC is committed to ensuring children playsfootball in a safe environment.  As part of this commitment, managers, coaches and other adults regularly coming into contact with players will have to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service ‘DBS’ check to ensure their suitability.

DO YOU HAVE A CHILD WHO WANTS TO PLAY?

We are approaching the end of the 24/25 football season and none of our teams are currently looking to recruit players.

Please check back from June 2025 onwards to see if we have any places available in our under 7 to under 16 and women’s teams.

GOALKEEPER TRAINING – NEW DATES

Open to all Sherwood FC players, takes place fortnightly at the Forest Sports Zone, 3G, on a Thursday evening 7 – 8pm. Upcoming dates 2025:

March – 6th, 20th
